Equinox Moble Outdoor Laser Tag

That's right! Laser tag can now be played outdoors in direct sunlight. What a great thing to play in sunny San Diego. Equinox Laser Tag has the ability to bring this laser tag experience to any location that you want. How many times have you wished that you could play paintball in a certain facility? Now you can since laser tag has no projectiles you can play it anywhere. There is no special gear required and it leaves no mess. It's great for birthday parties in the park to frat parties on campus. Where you can play this is only limited by your imagination.

Since I mentioned birthday parties, these guys really know how to throw a birthday party no matter what age you are. They specialize in throwing birthday parties that make the birthday child or adult feel extremely special. You are never too old to have fun.

If you are looking for something new and different to do in San Diego give this a try. Even if it's not your birthday. Get some friends together pick a place you want to play and give Equinox a call. They will bring everything that is needed to create whatever kind of game you want and you don't have to share it with anyone else.

Equinox Tactical Combat Simulation Laser Tag is Coming to San Diego

Get ready San Diego! Laser Tag as you know it is going to change forever! It's video game action live and in your face! "It's like playing Call of Duty for real." Equinox has taken Laser Tag to a whole new level. This new facility is being called Equinox TCS which stands for Tactical Combat Simulation. The guns that they are using look and feel just like the real thing. AK-47's, M-4's, MP5's and Mac 11's, they even have shotguns and sniper rifles! These things have variable firing rates, damage, distance, magazine size, and real reload time. Don't get caught reloading in the middle of a firefight or you may just get taken out!

This new form of Laser Tag or Laser Combat does not use any lasers I guess that is why they are calling it TCS. It's like paintball, but faster, cheaper, and in my opinion a lot more fun! This is a great thing to try for birthday parties because it adds all the action of video games such as Call of Duty, Battlefield, Far Cry, Halo, Gears of War and any other games of that nature into a fun filled safe game that gets kids to move, think, play, laugh and bond with their friends and family.

This game is not just for kids. The adult crowd is finding out that this once kiddie game is now to a level where even the toughest paintball player will really get into it. If you don't believe me give it a try and I think you will be amazed!

If you played let me know what you think. If you haven't ask me some questions.

New form of Tactical Training

Equinox Laser Tag San Diego has come up with a new way to effectively train in Close Quarters Battle (CQB) or Close Quarters Combat (CQC). Equinox is a laser tag company and they are trying to brand a new name for what they do because it really isn't laser tag since it does not have any lasers. Too many people get the wrong impression about their adult tactical games when it's called laser tag. The new name they are using is Tactical Combat Simulation (TCS). This has a nice ring to it and I think it describes what it is very well. Goodbye kiddie laser tag and hello big kid tactical training.

Call of Duty Laser Tag 40th birthday party

I just turned 40 and I had Equinox Laser Tag host my Birthday Party. Talk about FUN!!! Not only did I get to play with all my friends, my kids got to play as well! The equipment is no Joke! It's made of metal and extremely accurate, if you don't use the red dot scope that is mounted on top of the tagger you are not going to hit anything.
This was great for the kids as well as the adults. We played Call of Duty with silenced machine guns and the kids played Clone Wars in Star Wars Blaster mode.
We started at 8:30pm while it was still light out and we identified teams by the colored foam tips on the taggers, by night fall teams could be identified by the color of the muzzle flash (blue and red). We ended up playing till 12:30 at night, So Much Fun!!!
If you've never tried outdoor laser tag it is a whole different world than indoor. I understand that the equipment can be adjusted to use indoors as well. That would be really cool to do some CQB (Close Quarters Battle) in a building somewhere like Rainbow Six!
The party hosts were awesome too! They took time to explain how the system works and they even gave us some tips and tricks on how to win. I love playing paintball and airsoft, but I quickly discovered that this is a much faster game and way more accurate. They were able to program our taggers to emulate specific firearms with the amount of damage, clip size, fire rate and reload time. They even had semi-auto, three round burst and full auto. We even did some games with the mil-sim mode which sounded like a real gun shot. You could even hear the shell casing hit the ground, Way Cool!!!!
Sorry the review was so long. I just really had a good time and so did all my friends. I hear they are opening a fixed location, you can bet I'll be the first in line.
